Our Mission
ECO has a clear mission to end the criminalisation of children who are coerced into offending in particular linked to county lines and those affected by violence and the sale of drugs. Our focus will go beyond the current practice of diversion work. Influencing the criminal justice system to treat children better. Our mission is to disrupt a system that views groomed and exploited children as responsible for their own offending.
Our Vision
ECO will work to end children being coerced into offending linked to county lines and those affected by violence and the sale of drugs. It will work to eradicate the impact on the lives of those children who have already been criminalised and focus on disrupting the current system and processes that lead to the criminalisation of children who should in fact be being safeguarded.
